Certificate Program

The Clearheart Bodywork Certificate Program includes:

Fall 2008: 8 integrated courses, 300 hours with an additional practicum option, $3500

For administrative purposes the certificate program is broken down into 8 courses of 36 hours each, plus 12 hours for awareness practises; however, this is an integrated program and courses are best taken altogether. This program is recognized by the Canada-wide Association of Massage Therapists and Wholistic Practitioners and as continuing education for Registered Massage Therapists in B.C.

Courses in Anatomy and Physiology, Oriental Medicine, Bodywork Principles and Techniques, and Ethics and Introductory Business make up 288 hours in this program, plus there are 12 hours for practises in Presence.

Courses are offered Tuesdays through Fridays, September 30 to December 19, 2008.

1:00 - 4:00	Bodywork Principles and Techniques

*ADDITIONAL PRACTICUM OPTION available for those who wish to solidify their skills and increase their certificate hours to 345:
30 documented 1 1/2 sessions (45 hours) given to a minimum of 10 people during or up to 3 months following the course.

This 3 month program is substantive and inspiring training.

It is suitable for people wishing to become bodywork health caregivers, people exploring complementary and alternative medicine practices, practicing Registered Massage Therapists and bodyworkers who desire to learn about energy meridians and Traditional Chinese Medicine theories, people curious about human anatomy and the energy body and those on a path of self-discovery, including their sense of touch.
