The Clearheart Bodywork Certificate Program includes:

Fall 2012: 6 integrated courses, 300 hours with an additional practicum option, $3500

For administrative purposes the certificate program is broken down into 6 courses. However, this is an integrated program and courses are best taken altogether. This program is recognized by the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada and as continuing education for Registered Massage Therapists in B.C.

Courses are in Anatomy and Physiology, Oriental Medicine, Bodywork Principles, Bodywork Techniques, Body Awareness practices, and Business Fundamentals.

Courses are offered Mondays through Fridays, September 4 (Tuesday) to December 14, 2012, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm in Nelson, B.C.

*ADDITIONAL PRACTICUM OPTION available for those who wish to solidify their skills and increase their certificate hours to 345:
30 documented 1 1/2  hour sessions (45 hours) given to a minimum of 10 people during or up to 6 months following the course.

It is suitable for people wishing to become bodywork health caregivers, people exploring complementary and alternative medicine practices, practicing Registered Massage Therapists and bodyworkers who desire to learn about energy meridians and Traditional Chinese Medicine theories, people curious about human anatomy and the energy body and those on a path of self-discovery, including their sense of touch.
